     Sometimes it helps to have Backup. The same goes for Alarm-Clocks. Battery Backup is fine, but one wrong move, and POOF no alarm, be it a station change/fade-out or volume or whatever. Besides, doing it this way is not only kewl to do, but you can access your alarm clock from anywhere with Internet Access. (Though I don't recommend using your laptop constantly as an alarm clock, but it really does the trick in a pinch!) I needed a Clock for the new Prowler Browser II Project I am working on, and decided to share my research/results...

     The Human Clock has been around for a long time (no pun intended!) and is very interesting, however, it still as of yet lacks an alarm function. However, they HAVE added a new Human Calendar feature with with to entice you to take a look at various people, places and things around the world displaying the current time and/or date. It deserved a mention for its longevity.

     Alarm Cocky isn't a subtle name, but describes the Rooster who stands gaurd on this web based Alarm Clock. You can choose a real cock-a-doodle-doo, a cool guitar riff,a very funky bass music, or a beep-beep alarm. That's it. Very basic, easy to set.

     KuKu Klok is yet another Easy-to-Use Online Alarm Clock. Simply set the hour and minute to wake up, choose the sound to play for an alarm, and click the "Set Alarm" button. As easy as 1-2-3 with this service.

     Clock 2D is a digital alarm clock that can go Full-Screen, so you can wake up to read the numbers, perhaps stare at them a while before getting up (Though not recommended on workdays.) It also has a Commodore-64 Display, though I can't imagine anyone wanting to use it.

     Another service is called Sleep FM, which is the ultimate service. You can choose between a Male or Female Voice present the Current Weather, Todays Forecast, Current & Today Forecast, Time, Day and Date and MORE customized alarms to wake up to. AND you can have more than one alarm! PLUS, if your internet goes down, they play a sort of "backup alarm". What more could you want?

     Some people like to wake up to Music instead of noises or human voices, so I'm also listing a service by Online Clock that lets you wake up to your favorite genre of music! Just be sure to have the sound turned up decent before going to sleep, and you'll have something very awesome to wake up to. ENJOY!!
