Adult animals are the most in need of adoption as most are closer to chances of survival, especially in these econmic climes when pets are being left behind or given up. Shelters are offering animals that would give thier all if someone would share thier home with them. You may be saving a life! Many adults have a much more slimmer chance at adoption and, subsquently, staying alive. Not all participants are no-kill shelters!
