KnotAlone Integrates with FaceBook!

The KnotAlone Dev Group as integrated thier website with FaceBook. In addition to adding the FaceBook Meta Tags to the website, all KnotAlone.com pages offer up the LIKE Button, and there's also a FaceBook Badge listed on the right column. be SURE to LIKE us and mention KnotAlone.com!
The other half of the integration is the creation of a collegaue-only KnotAlone FaceBook Page. This seemed to be a mistake at first as there was no way to make this page "Public", but it works out fine for a KnotAlone Member resource, as we now have a private Chat with File Sharing on Facebook to interact and do work through. All I had to do was to make each member a "Page Admin".
This should be a boon to both publicity and accessibility as a developer resource for us because of the apps I have installed specifically. There's a nice Chatroom with File Sharing we can use for collaboration and studies for classes, a BTC Classmate App to get listed and hooked up on, a KA Project Wall, a VHS-Pets Discussion, and even a link to learn FBML (FaceBook Markup Language).
Beyond this, we are reaching for creating FaceBook Applications, starting with VHS-Pets since it is the project that is farthest along and based in PHP. Although it has opened up this door, we are held back only by available time as well as a usable server which I hope someone will be willing to donate the insignificant power of a home PC running XXAMP. Then we'll be in business!
